MEDIA DEMONSTRATION IN COOCHBEHAR FOR RESCUING MISSING REPORTER

Webdesk, TNI Coochbehar, 03rd August, 2015: The demonstration in protest of the missing of the Newspaper reporter Chayan Sarkar continued in Coochbehar. A road block was staged at Kutchery More of Coochbehar by the press reporters of Coochbehar. A deputation was also submitted to the District Magistrate of Coochbehar Mr. P. Ulaganathan. The road block started from 3.30 and ended at 5.30 pm yesterday. The SDO Coochbehar, Mr. Bikash Saha told the protesting reporters that every possible step was taken for the healthy recovery of the press reporter. The state administration has also appointed CID in this regard to investigating the case in a very fast pace. Earlier a rally was also organized by the press reporters of Coochbehar.
